    Ab 8/09 mit VT, aber gleiches Stepping?

    Wer sich einen Q8300, E7400/E7500 oder E5300/E5400 kaufen will, der sollte noch bis August 2009 warten. Dann nämlich bekommen diese Prozessoren VT freigeschalten (wichtig für Win 7).
    So toll das ist, so schlecht kann man erkennen, ob ein solcher Prozessor VT hat: Die Processor Codes als auch das Stepping (!) ändern sich nicht. Erst die S-Spec (bisher SLB..., mit VT dann SLG...) gibt Aufschluss.
